The Collection

The Sunshine collection, being released for Spring 2026, is inspired by the clear blue skies of summer, sparkling sunshine on ocean waves, and contrasted against rolling sands.
The recurring shape is a triangle, reminding us of sunrays drawn by a child. Sunshine brings happiness and lightness to our lives.
Pieces in the Sunshine collection allow us to simplify our lives and let us enjoy the moment in an uncomplicated way.

Yes. From fibre to finish, every garment is made using only 100% natural materials. We do not use polyester, or plastic-based fabrics—ever.
What inspired the creation of Savoir de Mode?
Savoir de Mode was born from a desire to return to intentional, elegant clothing made from natural materials. Our founder, Christine Banham, envisioned a brand that offers timeless pieces aligned with the values of modern, discerning women.
For Boutique Partners
How can I carry your collection in my boutique?
We’d be delighted to connect. Please fill out our contact form with your store information and location. We’ll follow up personally to explore whether we’re a good fit.
Do you work with buying agents?
Yes. We understand that some boutiques prefer working through agents, and we’re happy to accommodate this model. You’re also welcome to refer us directly to your preferred agent.
Do you wholesale internationally?
Yes, we’re preparing for distribution in both North America and Europe. While we will make every effort to serve U.S.-based retailers, with the current uncertainty surrounding import tariffs, we may only be able to quote FOB from our European producers.
Where are your garments made?
Our designs originate in Vancouver, Canada. We work with small, reputable mills in Europe to source fabrics, and our pieces are crafted with care in limited batches.
What makes your garments boutique-worthy?
Each piece reflects artisan quality, thoughtful craftsmanship, and exclusive natural-fibre materials. We don’t mass-produce—and that’s intentional. Our collections are designed for clients who appreciate subtle elegance and sustainable quality.

Meet Christine
“I created Savoir de Mode as a quiet resistance against fast fashion. Clothing should nourish—not exhaust. With every piece, we invite you to experience dressing as a form of respect—for your body, your values, and the world.”
— Christine Banham, Founder of Savoir de Mode
Learn More About Christine
Why I Created Savoir de Mode
After a career of more than 30 years in finance and policy development, I created Savoir de Mode because I saw there were fewer and fewer clothing choices in natural fibres – even in the luxury market. I consistently heard from women who longed for clothing that not only looked elegant, but felt right—pieces that fit beautifully, moved comfortably, and quietly reflected their values, without excessive branding or contributing to the problem of microplastics.
With my business skills in finance, project leadership, and strategic planning, and my design savoir faire, I knew I had the tools to bring something different to life. I understood what was missing: a line of investment-worthy garments that offered structure and softness, elegance and ease. Garments that combined natural materials with purposeful design, and that supported a woman’s presence—whether she’s walking into a meeting, attending a gallery opening, or simply going about her day with intention.
I believe in functional elegance: silhouettes that are tailored to respect the natural shape of a woman, details that serve a purpose—like pockets you can truly use, and styles that make you feel beautiful the moment you slip into them. Unlike much of what’s offered today, our collections don’t chase trends or sacrifice femininity for minimalism. Our collections honour you through quiet elegance and thoughtful form.
By producing in small batches and growing intentionally, I’ve committed to quality over quantity. By using only natural fibres and plant-based materials, women will have a choice to reduce microplastics in their wardrobe and in our environment. Savoir de Mode invites women to dress with presence—not pretense—and to find confidence in garments that whisper, never shout.
